Vintage Pre-owned Modernist Jorgan Jensen Owl Pendant Pewter Denmark 78
Danish metalsmith Jorgen Jensen was known for his modern designs in jewelry and housewares. His work is often confused with that of Georg Jensen but Jorgen Jensen's work was almost always in pewter. He was active in the 1960s and much of his work, especially his necklaces and jewelry, reflects the aesthetic of the times which were called 'Danish Modern'.
This medallion pendant shows a pair of stylized owls under a crescent moon. It measures 2 inches across. The pewter rises up on a blackened background to show the unique Modernist design.
The back of the pendant is signed JORGEN JENSEN - 78 - DENMARK.
